WILL BEGIN FIELD VALIDATION OF DIESOLIFTTM 10 WITH ITS ENTIRE FLEET OF LOCOMOTIVES

ST. LOUIS, July 19, 2011 – International Fuel Technology, Inc. (IFT) (OTCBB: IFUE) announced that Romanian rail operator Regiotrans SRL has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with IFT to begin a formal field validation process to confirm the fuel economy benefits of DiesoLiFT™ 10.  Nordmann Rassmann Romania SRL, a division of IFT distribution partner Nordmann Rassmann (http://www.nordmann-rassmann.com/), will help manage and oversee the field validation process.

“In order to better manage the environmental impact of its operations, Regiotrans SRL has set internal goals for higher energy efficiency. The validation program of IFT’s DiesoLiFT™ 10 in Regiotrans’ entire fleet of locomotives is expected to reduce Regiotrans’ diesel consumption and production of atmospheric emissions,” said Axel Farhi, IFT’s Director of Global Business Development.
