International Fuel Technology, Inc. (IFT), is a United States corporation headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, that has developed and tested a multi-functional additive technology that is proven to enhance the combustion efficiency of liquid hydrocarbon fuels, in addition to delivering a series of other important benefits without requiring reconfiguration of the engine or refining infrastructure.

Manufacturing Capabilities

Our products are manufactured and blended in ISO 9002 and ISO 14001-certified plants in the United States owned by Air Products, Chemicals, Inc. Multisol and Nordmann Rassmann (www.airproducts.com). Our high-volume production capacity enables IFT to meet any level of market demand.

Development of the Technology

In 2000, our team of scientists from the United States and United Kingdom engineered and tested a revolutionary surfactant approach to improving fuel combustion efficiency and related fuel performance characteristics. In 2002, the original formula had its first successful test in a truck engine. Our scientists then re-engineered the formula to deliver optimum benefit and applied the same surfactant-based concept to formulate various blends for use in a broad array of applications (DiesoLiFT 10™, DiesoLiFT BD-3™, GasoLiFT 10™, and KeroLiFT 10™ product lines). These additive formulas were proven effective through testing in over-the-road transportation, rail, marine transportation, and stationary power generation.

In recent years, IFT has used a great deal of its resources to confirm the efficacy of its additive products at some of the world's most renowned independent test facilities. After incredibly successful testing at these certified test facilities, we have made our products commercially available on a global scale.

Commercialization Efforts

As a result of success in various commercial applications and independent laboratory testing, IFT filed for patent protection on its formulations and is now focused on rapid commercial development, targeting high-volume fuel consumers in the road transportation, rail, power generation, and marine transportation industries.
